Meet the owners: Jason and Jen Shulman
Colorado CareAssist is family-owned and operated by Jason and Jen Shulman.

We both have extensive experience taking care of our own parents, which got us into this business.

My mom died when she was 59, from cancer. She died at home in hospice with her family around her, and it made me realize the beauty of being able to gracefully die at home.
Many years later, just this past year, my father passed away from pancreatic cancer. Obviously, that's a vicious disease. It comes fast, and at the end, it is all about keeping somebody comfortable.
Because I'm in my 50s now, I've seen friends across the spectrum going through it: my classmates from college and all my friends from growing up. Everybody's going through it right now.
I never got to serve in the military, and since I serve veterans and seniors, this is my chance to serve.

My wife right now is taking care of her mother at home, while her father is in a skilled nursing facility. We've been living, eating, and breathing senior care for the last several years.
We both want to serve our country and those who serve us, and then, of course, take care of our seniors, who are really like our military and demand the utmost respect.
