Getting Started Is Simple
A thoughtful onboarding process designed to understand your needs and deliver exceptional care. Most families begin care within 3–5 business days.

Getting started with home care typically begins with a free consultation where a care manager assesses the individual's needs, living situation, and personal preferences to develop a customized care plan. At Colorado CareAssist, the process takes three steps: first, a phone or in-home consultation to understand care needs and answer questions about services and costs; second, caregiver matching based on personality, skills, schedule availability, and geographic proximity; and third, care begins within days, with ongoing communication through the Family Room portal where families can view real-time care notes, caregiver schedules, and service updates. No long-term contracts are required, and care hours can be adjusted at any time from a minimum three-hour visit up to 24-hour live-in care. All caregivers are employees of the agency, fully insured, bonded, and covered under workers' compensation.
