A Credentialed Pinnacol SelectNet Provider
As of May 2026, Colorado CareAssist is credentialed in the Pinnacol Assurance SelectNet network for attendant home care. SelectNet is the curated network of providers Pinnacol case managers steer injured workers toward when in-network care is available. For families, that means a smoother claim, faster authorization, and no scramble to find someone who knows the workers' comp side of the paperwork.
What we provide is non-medical attendant care. We do not replace a doctor, physical therapist, occupational therapist, or skilled nurse. We provide the daily personal-care support that makes recovery at home possible — bathing, mobility, meals, transportation to medical appointments, and supervision — while the medical providers manage the injury itself.
Who this is for. If you or a loved one has an open Colorado workers' compensation claim with Pinnacol Assurance and the treatment plan includes authorization for attendant care, we can begin care quickly and bill Pinnacol directly. Referrals come from Pinnacol case managers, employers, adjusters, treating physicians, and families — all are welcome.
What Attendant Care Looks Like
Non-Medical Support That Bridges the Recovery
After a serious workplace injury, the medical pieces — surgery, imaging, physical therapy, follow-up visits — are scheduled appointments. The hours in between are where things fall apart: getting out of bed safely, getting to the bathroom, eating a real meal, getting to the next PT appointment on time. That is where attendant care fits.
Care plans are built around what Pinnacol has authorized and what the worker actually needs. A few hours a day, several days a week, overnight coverage during the early weeks of recovery — we scale to the claim.
Services Included Under Authorized Attendant Care
- Bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance
- Mobility, transfer, and gait support
- Toileting and incontinence care
- Meal preparation and feeding assistance
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Medication reminders
- Transportation to physical therapy, doctor, and follow-up appointments
- Companionship and supervision during recovery
★★★★★Jason was great. He answered all my questions and provided great service when picking me up from the hospital after surgery. I will use his services again.
Why Pinnacol Case Managers Send Us Referrals
Colorado CareAssist has served Colorado families since 2012. We are locally owned, not a franchise. Our caregivers are background-checked, drug-tested, and trained in safe transfers, mobility support, and post-injury recovery. We carry $3 million in liability coverage, our staff is W-2 employed (not 1099 contracted), and we operate under Colorado Home Care Agency license #04Y296.
If a worker is also a veteran, we can coordinate VA Community Care through TriWest in parallel with the workers' comp claim — learn more about VA Community Care.
Serving injured workers throughout Denver Metro, Boulder, Broomfield, Adams, Jefferson, Douglas, Arapahoe, El Paso, and Pueblo counties.
