Cognitive Enrichment, Built Into Care — Colorado CareAssist powered by BrainQuake

A caregiver and client exploring a visual puzzle activity together on a tablet

Great care is about more than safety and daily tasks — it's about staying engaged, curious, and connected. That's why we've partnered with BrainQuake, a library of visual, hands-on puzzle games designed by learning scientists (including Stanford mathematician Dr. Keith Devlin) to make thinking feel like play.

The games are visual and touch-based — no reading, no time pressure, no single “right” way to start. During a visit, a caregiver opens the activity on a tablet and explores it together with your loved one, at whatever pace feels comfortable. It's a screen-based activity that's genuinely calm and rewarding, not overstimulating.

And it's transparent: every session is logged, so families can see the enrichment happening — what was played, for how long, and how engaged their loved one was — right in the client portal.
